The Mighty Line is seeking quality literary fiction that pairs refined storytelling with immediate cultural relevance. Please do not submit stories longer than 4,000 words. Multiple submissions are fine. Simultaneous submissions are fine so long as you withdraw your submission as soon as it is accepted elsewhere. We are not currently seeking previously published work.

Flash Fiction

The Mighty Line welcomes submissions of flash fiction. Please submit no more than 3 stories in one document with each story being less than 1,000 words.

Visual Art

The Mighty Line showcases one visual artist a month on its cover and throughout its issue. Please submit at least 3  original images that have not been previously published.

Rights Agreement

Submitters must be able to accept payment by PayPal. By submitting your work, you are agreeing to publish it with us should we accept it. Upon acceptance, Marlowe and Company assumes first-time electronic publication rights, the right to preserve the work in an online archive, and the right to publish the work in future collections.
